Constructed in the 15th century, this unique structure once served as a hub for European traders and merchants from the Hanseatic League who sought to establish a stronghold for their commercial activities in the region. The stunning red brick façade and intricate timber framing of Hanse House have been painstakingly preserved, offering visitors a rare glimpse into the past. The character of the building provides a great backdrop to any wedding and adds a warm feel to ceremonies and receptions.

The ceremony room is an intimate, stylish room perfect for hosting the ceremony itself. The exposed timber beams provide warmth and character to the ceremony and guests can enjoy views overlooking the Great Ouse. With seating for around thirty of your closest friends and family it creates a great atmosphere to share such a special moment with. After the ceremony you can step outside for your photographs in the enclosed courtyard which boasts characterful historic features. You can also take advantage of the fantastic waterside views for a moment of relaxation as you soak in the memorable moments of the special day.

We use local produce as much as possible to provide the highest quality and ensure freshness.
